Acquire powerful new spells without learning proper safety measures.
Nine Parchments combines real-time spell-shooting action with RPG elements – level up your character and collect magical loot, filling your wardrobe with a myriad of wizard hats and powerful staves. There are dozens of spells for you to discover in Nine Parchments, along with skill trees that can be developed through the game’s progression.
The game also contains a feature I’m yet to see in any other action RPG – friendly fire. You can choose to help or hinder your friends. I get the feeling that the later will be more common. If you don’t have any friends to play local co-op with, online play is also available.
Nine Parchments becomes available from the PlayStation store today, having been released last week for PC on Steam and Humble Bundle, and the Nintendo Switch store. You can now pick it up on all platforms for about £15 ($20).
