Kero Blaster making its way to Nintendo Switch

Frogging’ good news.

From the creator of uber successful Cave Story, Studio Pixel, comes another vibrant tale just waiting to hop onto the Nintendo Switch. The well-loved and wildly popular Kero Blaster, originally released on PC in 2014, is available now for pre-purchase for the hand-held console.

The game has so far had quite a journey. After its success on PC and iOS, Kero Blaster was released on Steam, adding an extra mode “Zangyou mode”, named after the Japanese word for “overwork”. After that, gun-wielding frog saw a release on the PlayStation 4. It seems only natural that the Nintendo Switch should follow suit.

In Kero Blaster, you play as a bipedal frog employed by the mysterious start-up company “Cat & Frog Inc.” Fend off enemies seeking to stop you and overcome the challenging landscape as you head toward your destination. The further you get, the stronger you’ll feel yourself becoming. Fit froggy.

The features include:

  • Stunning pixel graphics.
  • A challenging game play with different difficulty settings.
  • An unlockable “Zangyou mode”.
  • Challenging mechanics and traps.
  • Boss Rush mode.
  • Fantastic bosses at the end of every stage.

Kero Blaster can be found on Steam and will be released on Nintendo Switch on August 23rd for $9.99.
