Acclaimed VR platformer Light Tracer heading to Steam

A new and innovative approach to virtual reality gaming.

In Light Tracer, players will lead a princess to the top of an enigmatic, Babel-like tower to save her ailing people – using godlike powers, and two hands, to wield a Light Staff and manipulate views for better interactions. The game combines platform-style movement and clever puzzles with unique play mechanics and delightful artwork. Players will direct the Princess through action-platform stages using jumping skills, precise timing and strategic attacks using the Princess’s sword to get around enemies. The Princess’s journey comprises eight varied chapters where she will encounter rock-throwing trolls, a world of snow, slippery ice and new monsters to fight; each ending with a challenging boss fight.

Developed by Void Dimensions and published by Oasis Games, Light Tracer opened to positive reviews on release to PS4.  PlayStation Lifestyle reviewed it at an impressive 8/10, and 4/5 on the PlayStation digital store.

Of course, as it’s a virtual reality game, playing on Steam will require either HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.  If you’ve already got PlayStation VR, you can pick the game up on the Light Tracer PlatStation store page, for only £9.99 ($13.50).
