Discover thriving wildlife, encounter monstrous beasts, and let curiosity guide you through an inevitable voyage of extinction.  The water rose by an unpredictable amount due to climate change.  The Earth’s surface froze over, and humans were forced to live underwater, where they could still harvest energy and grow food.

As resources began to dwindle in the year 2971, sub-aquatic spaceships were sent to a nearby wormhole to look for habitable planets. Things did not go as planned. And now the ship, Argo9, has returned thousands of years later.

The atmosphere in Aquatic Adventures of the Last Human are undeniably melancholic.  The humans are now all gone (except you), our legacy can be seen in the backdrops that tell the story and provide a dark atmosphere.  You’ll encounter a variety of colossal, unique sea creatures that you’ll need to overcome in your adventures.  Between the boss fights and the exploration aspects of the game the gameplay is polarised, keeping the gameplay fresh.

The Aquatic Adventures of the Last Human on Steam was released almost a year ago and has mostly positive reviews.  You can pick it up now for £6.99 / €9.99 / $9.99.  From the 19th of January you’ll be able to dive in on Xbox One, and a few days later on the 23rd in North America and the 24th in Europe.
