True Fear: Forsaken Souls coming to PS4

Psychological hidden object thriller that isn’t for the faint of heart.

True Fear: Forsaken Souls, the first in the trilogy of point and click horror adventures, has already been well received by players both on Steam, with very positive reviews, and on the Google Play Store, with an average of 96% positive reviews and over a million downloads since releasing in late 2016.

The story in Forsaken Souls is undoubtedly the main focus. From the start, the atmosphere is set, as you walk down a dark street until you come across a house. A house that nobody has been inside for many years – yet candles burn inside, lit by someone who has been waiting for you for a long time. The cinematic sequences in the game not only look fantastic but also pull you deeper into the psychological suspenseful episode.

Gameplay is not lost to the story, however, with puzzles and engaging, yet optional, hidden objects woven in. You’ll need to discover and follow clues in order to uncover more of both yours’ and your sister’s pasts. If you get stuck there’s always the option to use a hint, as some scenes can be tricky to solve.

In the PS4 version of Forsaken Souls you’ll get all of the bonuses from the Collector’s version of the game. This includes a bonus level, as well as extra cut-scenes and wallpapers. Of course, the game has been fully adapted to be played with the Dualshock 4, and also includes touch pad support.
