Warriorb

Warriorb rolls out first full trailer

Wizards, puzzles, and the end of the world come together in this fantasy side-scroller.

Warriorb is a side-scrolling platformer where you take on the role of a wizard, who has been transformed into a ball. Within a beautiful and fantasical 3D environment, you must navigate your way through traps and solve puzzles to search for your lost daughter, and on your journey you will meet and talk with various NPCs, some friendly and others less so.

The gameplay, as in any good side-scroller, includes a lot of frustrating obstacles and fearsome enemies, but if you can bounce your way out of enough sticky situations, you will find that Warriorb also has an element of fantasy RPG, and so during the course of the game you will be able to explore the world and buy new clothing and weapons. The course of the player through the game world is designed around ‘splines’, a mathematical concept which is used in Warriorb to optimise the use of space in the exploration of the 3D environment from a 2D perspective.

Warriorb, which will be the first game released by Romanian/Hungarian micro-studio Not Yet, looks like an interesting game with a unique concept and fun gameplay, and we look forward to its eventual release. In the meantime, why not check out some other side-scrollers we’ve covered on IGW.
