City of the Shroud

Story-driven RPG City of the Shroud coming to Windows and Mac

Either save save Iskendrun or let it fall!

City of the Shroud, by Abyssal Arts, is a strategic tile-based RPG with a player-driven story. The game is debuting this summer on Windows and Mac.

City of the Shroud is a turn-based RPG where you command a team of fighters, using classes like mages, brutes, and gunners. City of the Shroud features innovative tactical gameplay, combo-based fights, an innovative stats system, and online multiplayer.

In addition, the game features a four-part story that promises to allow the players to shape the story as much as the developer. After the first part releases this summer, the player base will determine the fate of the city. The story’s outcome is determined by the community as a whole, not by the choices of individual players.

The story is penned Moira Katson, author of books like the Light and Shadow trilogy. The game takes place in Iskendrun, a city at the centre of the Zuwar peninsula, which is now mired in hunger and political conflict. Five leaders vie for control of the city. It’s up to the player to decide who wins, and to either save Iskendrun or let it fall.

City of the Shroud is developed by Abyssal Arts, an international publisher with team members in Japan, Denver, Minneapolis, and Brighton. Abyssal Arts was created by Capcom veteran Keaton White.

The game will be available for $19.99 USD / €19.99 on the City of the Shroud Steam page. You can also check out the  City of the Shroud website.

The Definitive Edition, which will include all four chapters, will debut in late 2019 for Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
