Application period kicks off for Indie Game Expo at QUO VADIS

Applications open now for booths at Indie Game Expo – Quo Vadis 2018.

Quo Vadis

This April, the Indie Game Expo at Quo Vadis, Europe’s oldest game developer conference, will showcase the work of 60 top indie game devs at the annual two-day event in Berlin, Germany. Applications are now open for studios who want to be featured in their own booth at the conference, which is held in Station Berlin, a former railway station and protected historical landmark.

Those lucky developers who are accepted will have access to a major media presence, as well as a fully-furnished booth and opportunities for networking. All packages include access to the MeetToMatch networking system, as well as entry into the Quo Vadis Indie Award and a reduced price ticket for the main conference. More information on packages available can be found on the Quo Vadis website.

Quo Vadis is one of Europe’s largest developer-focused gaming conferences, and has been held in Berlin since 2007. It is the main event of International Games Week Berlin, and receives thousands of attendees. It also features a range of workshops, talks and panel discussions which throw a spotlight on developing industry trends. This year’s conference will take place on 24th and 25th of April. Major indie game conferences almost sound like a paradox, since part of the beauty of indie games is that they often come out of nowhere and go viral before it ever comes onto the radar of the big beasts of the industry. Nevertheless, in an increasingly crowded indie game market, the conference calendar helps cut through some of the noise and showcase the best indie games around, and so industry events are always worth paying attention to, for gamers and developers alike.
