Masters of Anima out now on PC and consoles

French indie studio Passtech Games released its awaited strategic combat fantasy game.

Independent French video game developer studio Passtech Games announced today the release of their highly anticipated combat-based fantasy game Masters of Anima into PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game’s main promoted feature is its “intuitive and innovative gameplay made from the ground up for controller play, as well as keyboard and mouse”.

Passtech Games partnered with widely known French publisher company Focus Home Interactive in order to bring this new title to all major consoles.

The game follows a basic narrative in which players take control of the hero, Otto, who embarks in a quest to liberate his fiancée Anna from her captivity under the control of the main antagonist, the terrible Zahr. Otto is an aprentice of Anima, a magic source that controls all life in the world of Spark, and after being named a Master he now faces his most dangerous quest.

Masters of Anima

“Follow Otto in his quest against the forces of evil in strategic, action-packed battles, where your ability to make tactical decisions quickly is vital. Summon and control large armies of up to 100 Guardians, who obey your commands with intuitive and innovative gameplay made from the ground up for controller play, as well as keyboard and mouse!”, reads the game description.

Masters of Anima also features an exploration mode in which players will make use of each new ability they gain to raise new powerful magical allies, each with unique traits and features, to progress in the game and in the world of Spark. Each won battle will grant Otto new powers and magic to use in his quest to defeat Zahr and regain his right to marry his beloved Anna.
