Battery Jam

Battery Jam bursts onto Steam soon

Competitive territorial battle arena launching out of Early Access this month.

Battery Jam is a local multiplayer game of competitive territorial mayhem! Use the boombox to smash your opponents, capture their tiles, and dominate the arena. Choose one of four Jammers and compete to have the most tiles at the end of every match! Take on your friends or play alone in Free-for-All or Team mode across six levels, with more on the way.

In Battery Jam, players control one of four radical robots who duke it out for territory in a chaotic battle arena. Players can either stun shot opposing players directly or punch boomboxes into them in an attempt to destroy them and take over the surrounding tiles. All while the robots dash around the arena avoiding the attacks at a frantic pace. In the end, the player with the most tiles under their control when the timer reaches zero claims victory.

There are two game modes to choose from, Classic Jam which is a free-for-all battle or Team Jam which is a battle of orange vs blue. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a fair fight. You can 1v3 your newbie friends in this game mode too. Both game modes are intense and fast, which allow players to challenge their friends to battle again and again! Play local co-op on PC or challenge yourself to some quick PVE battles.

Battery Jam launched on Steam Early Access earlier this year, where it has received almost entirely positive reviews. The full version will see two new levels and AI difficulty options. It’s currently priced at £7.19 / €9.99 / $9.99, however the developer has stated that the price will probably increase when the game launches fully on the 17th of May.
