Raiders of the Broken Planet

Raiders of the Broken Planet is free for a limited time

Spanish studio MercurySteam’s offer will only last 24 hours.

Spanish Independent studio MercurySteam, responsible for Metroid: Samus Returns, announced today that their sci-fi shooter Raiders of the Broken Planet will be available for free for 24 hours through the Steam platform, including all three published campaigns. This giveaway marks the 1st anniversary of the game’s open beta.

“We launched the first Raiders of the Broken Planet Open Beta in May 2017,” said Enric Álvarez, Game Director, “and we wanted to celebrate this milestone with all those players who have played the game since and give them the chance to discover how much it has changed in the last twelve months thanks to their fantastic feedback.”

Though initially criticised for some alleged issues in the game’s progression and rewards system, MercurySteam has since then fixed those problems, mainly through the release of its third campaign on April 4th. This update has been well received by the community, reflected by reviews on Raiders of the Broken Planet’s Steam page.
