Dead Cells 2

Dead Cells physical version announced

Not to mention a special Signature Edition as well!

Dead Cells

Merge is proud to announce that both standard retail and special Signature Edition versions of Dead Cells will be launching in August 2018! The standard retail versions of the game include a twenty-page artbook. However, the Signature Edition of the game (limited to 2000 copies each on PS4 and Nintendo Switch) will include a copy of the game, a double-CD soundtrack, an exclusive enamel character pin, a fifty-six-page hardback artbook, a numbered certificate of authenticity and will also be presented in an outer box featuring exclusive artwork in a matt finish with spot gloss. Additionally, PC players can look forward to a Dead Cells Special Edition, which will feature exclusive case artwork, a twenty-page concept artbook and the games soundtrack.

For those who don’t know, Dead Cells puts you in the control of a failed alchemic experiment trying to figure out what’s happening on a sprawling, ever-changing and seemingly cursed Island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging foes, permadeath and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble, make for a demanding, visceral and cathartic action game.

The standard retail versions of the game will be available in European Stores starting August 17th for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. The US version will be launched on August 21. PC players will be able to pick up the Special Edition on the 17th as well for €34.99 / £29.99. Last but not least though, the Signature Edition for Nintendo Switch will be priced at $50 / €45 / £40, with the PlayStation 4 version being available for $45 / €40 / £35.
