Surgeon Simulator hints at Switch version in new trailer

The massively popular, darkly hilarious surgeon simulator could be great on Switch.

The tongue in cheek operation simulator stitched together with dark comedy Surgeon Simulator has featured in a new, short, mysterious trailer video released by developer Bossa Studios.

The videos highlights a frighteningly clumsy surgeon fumbling over items on a shelf before flicking a light “Switch” and plunging the video into darkness. Having already been released on Steam, PS VR, the App Store and Google Play, it was perhaps only a matter of time until a Switch version released. The use of the joy-cons could provide an interesting new style of gameplay to the unconventional surgeries that dark place in Surgeon Simulator.

If you’ve always wanted to get your hands on Donald Trump’s innards, well, for Switch owners this could be your chance, as you can complete a bizarre variety of surgery on an equally odd cast, including an alien or even The Heavy from TF2

Surgeon Simulator first launched on Steam way back in 2013, and has been a surgical success since, receiving over 10,000 very positive reviews, where it’s priced at £6.99 / €9.99 / $9.99. Of course, there are no further details about when we can expect the game to make the cut to Switch, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
