Space 4X game Pax Nova gets Early Access release date

This is GreyWolf Entertainment’s second title in the genre, after Dawn of Andromeda.

Portuguese indie game developers at GreyWolf Entertainent have partnered up with Iceberg Interactive to bring their second title into the market through Steam’s Early Access on December 2018. We’re talking about Pax Nova, a new 4X, space exploration game that follows their last release, Dawn Of Andromeda, in genre and universe.

With a new teaser trailer released today, Iceberg Interactive and GreyWolf Entertainment have set the release date for Pax Nova through Steam’s Early Access for this December. “After building Dawn of Andromeda around a very streamlined approach and learning a lot from that experience, we decided to work on a completely new 4X game with brand new ideas and a vastly different approach. Pax Nova is an epic space opera that seamlessly blends together planetary strategy with a space layer, which we believe sets it apart and hopefully one players will enjoy.”, said Mike Domingues, member of GreyWolf.

For anyone wondering, 4X stands for “explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate” and is easily reflected as a genre with Cid Meier’s Civilitazion franchise. GreyWolf Entertainment might have even taken some inspiration from Sid Meier’s Galactic Civilizations franchise.

In Pax Nova players take control of a decaying human race and its efforts to survive and look for a new planet to live in, since Earth has been ruined a long time ago. Both planetary and deep space exploration are possible in Pax Nova, providing a truly interesting experience to look forward to, both for 4X, science fiction and civilization-oriented games fans.
