Eternum Ex

Eternum Ex comes to Switch and PC

Inspired by 80’s platformers such as Bomb Jack

Publisher Zerouno Games, in collaboration with Radin Games and Flynn’s Arcade, developers behind their upcoming release Eternum Ex, have today announced that the game will be launching on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam this week on October 25th. Being a 16-bit Pixel Art game whose influences include the likes of 80’s platformers such as Ghosts’n Goblins and Bomb Jack. Eternum Ex puts you into the shoes of Sir Arthur and he has gotten old… too old. He has lost everything he had loved, and with nothing more to lose he leaves for Samarnath, an evil subterranean kingdom in search of treasures, adventures and most important: give magical orbs that together provide: The Eternal youth.

With gameplay that is simple at its core, a difficulty that increases, an exciting and addictive gameplay loop and precision in its controls. Eternum Ex is great for those who yearn for the platformers of old or rather for those who want to introduce these games to their children and want to help them understand how important these games were and still are to some degree to the games industry at large.

If you want to have a look at Eternum Ex or grab the game when it releases later this week. Be sure to head over to the Nintendo eShop or Eternum Ex Steam page and pick it up for €12.99. If you decide to pre-order the game on Nintendo Switch there will be a further 20% off the purchase price. Pricing for other regions were unavailable at time of writing.
