Keep Freebug safe, raise dirty money and deal with the mafia while riding your commute.

This is the police

Critically acclaimed narrative-driven police management simulator This Is The Police will be arriving to mobile devices through iOS and Android this December 13th. The announcement was made by Belarus based developers at Weappy Studio today, just months after the release of the game’s sequel, This Is The Police 2.

The mobile version for This Is The Police will be published by HandyGames and will be available for purchase with a one-time payment, no ads and no network connection required to be played. “HandyGames has been a part of the mobile market for over 18 years now. We’ve made and sold many games on various platforms all over the world, with our future now being in the premium game space. Our upcoming releases will focus on that model – and if a game is a premium title, that means no lootboxes, no in-app purchases, no adds, no gambling,“ says Christopher Kassulke, CEO at HandyGames.

Players all around the world will have the chance now of playing through a couple of work days at Freeburg in the flesh of chief Jack Boyd while they ride the train, subway or bus to their real jobs, or just sitting on a bench at a park. How will you raise $500,000 before Jack Boyd retires? Will you bargain with the mob or will you defy power?

What still remains to be known is if the game’s sequel, This Is The Police 2, will also be getting a mobile port. The second entry in the franchise features turn-based combat and a deeper sense of management from within each particular office in our ranks.

This Is The Police will be released for iOS and Android devices on December 13th and will be priced at 7,99€ EURO / $7.99 US / £6.99 UK and will require iOS 8 or better and Android 6 with 1.5 GB RAM or better.
