Escape Doodland coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this week

Doodle, you better run.

Escape Doodland, the hard-core auto-runner that sees you escaping for your life in a messy doodled world, will be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on November 30th.

Escape Doodland is the debut of the Polish game studio flukyMachine, which was created by Veronika Harkavenko and Piotr Karski. Karski said of the game’s development: “We worked on the game for over 2 years. The original concept was slightly different – in the end, however, the idea evolved towards notebook doodles. We also focused on demanding gameplay that boils down to running, jumping, swimming or flying. All this in a slightly absurd and hilarious setting”

Absurd and hilarious it is indeed. In Escape Doodland, players assume the role of a Doodland resident. Unfortunately, this joyful land is attacked by a merciless monster. Your options are escape or death, so you better learn how to run fast and jump well.

The creators of this new platformer prepared a total of 10 various levels, with two levels of difficulty (difficult and more difficult). Karski continued: “The light design can create some illusive impression, but our game is certainly not simple. Each of the 10 levels means a large and at the same time fair challenge. Sometimes a given fragment of the game will need to be repeated – in this doddle world death comes often and players will experience it in very different ways”

If you fancy running for you life, you can pick up Escape Doodland on PC and Nintendo Switch on November 30th.
