Aeons Of Sands

Retro pen and paper RPG Aeon Of Sands released

Get the feel of a true old-school first person 2.5D RPG.

Two-man indie studio Two Bits Kid released today a truly old-school first-person role playing and dungeon crawling game called Aeon Of Sands for PC and Mac OS. This title has clear pen and paper 2.5D retro classics set in a post-apocalyptic world and a great amount of choices to make, leading to several different endings.

Aeon Of Sands follows the story of an anti-hero called Setrani, who is thrown into an endless desert in a dangerous mission for which he might not be the right guy. “Guide his travels over a dangerous land, ravaged by the weather and by tribal enmity. Struggle with him, as the desert’s wicked sense of humor and unpredictability set him trap after trap on his path.”, reads the game’s description.

With its non-linear nature, Aeon Of Sands allows players to explore at their will, not forced to follow one single path and providing a more immersive experience with hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations that feed this world of that classic look and feel so many want back from their childhoods.

Aeons Of Sands
