Little Legend

Open world 2D side-scroller Little Legend hopes for a kickstart

Every Little Legend needs funding.

Indie developers at studio Nevermind announced today that their 2D side-scrolling open world adventure Little Legend will be getting a Kickstarter campaign starting on January 9th, 2019. The game has been in development for 10 years, ever since Fawzi Allouache first had the idea in 2008.

Allouache later met Maxime Poutiline and created a partnership from which they gave birth to their studio Nevermind. Now, ten years later, they’ve decided to begin a Kickstarter campaign in order to gather fundings to fully develop their 2D open world adventure, Little Legend.

Little Legend is a 2D side-scrolling open world experience set in a fantasy universe where players take the role of Pimpim, a girl with superpowers as she ventures forth this big world and finding out the secret behind the “rebuilding of the universe”.

Little Legend

Little Legend allows players to create, for instance, their own magical spells and abilities, companions and sell them as they explore its open world, battle with fast-paced mechanics and interact with a big cast of characters. Little legend is a narrative-driven experience in which, as Nevermind has detailed, includes choice-relevant progression as Pimpim explores this fantastic 2D world.

Nevermind will begin the Kickstarter campaign for Little Legends on January 9th, 2019. Meanwhile, interested players can find out more about this project in its official website or Facebook page. From what we can see at Nevermind’s website, Little Legends will be released on PC as well as Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
