Ambitious FPS Bright Memory prepares for Early Access

This one-man effort’s final release is scheduled for 2021.

Chinese one-man FYQD Personal Studio is preparing the start of the Early Access stage of its pretty ambitious first-person shooter Bright Memory, which will be available for anyone interested in trying it out during development from January 12th.

Solo developer Zeng Xiancheng has stated that the Early Access version of Bright Memory: Episode 1 will deliver around one-third of the total game’s content, while the full version of it will add more skills, moves, animations and achievements as well as general content.

Bright Memory is a fast-paced first-person shooter with a pretty interesting story that puts players in the role of an agent of the research institute SRO (Natural Science Research Organization) while investigating a crime involving a strange material that can recall  dead creatures found in an ancient sword. Our protagonist, Sheila, must investigate and uncover who’s behind the organization that wants to steal this material, the third-party military organization called SAI.

Ancient creatures in the arctic, conspiracy theories and action-packed shooting gameplay awaits in Bright Memory, which was awarded with the Unreal Dev Grant, and which uses this engine to deliver powerful graphics and stunning visuals, especially when talking about a one-man effort.

Even though the final release date for this title is set for 2021, Early Access players will be able to enjoy the first part of Bright Memory as soon as January 12th. More information about the developer’s comments on this Early Access stage can be found at the game’s Steam page.
