BATALJ

BATALJ will remain on closed beta for a while longer

Plan your turn ahead and order a beta key before your opponent.

Swedish indie studio Fall Damage has announced today that the closed beta phase for their upcoming multiplayer turn-based strategy game BATALJ will be extended until the end of this month, on January 31st. This announcement also came with the news that a massive new update will be arriving for members of the beta with quite a bit of new content.

Fall Damage is a Swedish indie studio founded mainly by industry veterans from DICE and with the funding of Goodbye Kansas Game Invest. “Shutting down the Closed Beta at New Year’s Eve didn’t feel like the right thing to do considering our active dialogue with our community that keeps getting better and better. Instead, extending the Closed Beta to the end of the month with a huge update coming in the second week of January including a new map, new units and new heroes. We’re excited to see how the meta changes.” said Dan Vaderlind, Chief Operations Officer at Fall Damage when explaining the decision behind extendind the Closed Beta stage.

BATALJ

BATALJ is a multiplayer online turn-based strategy game in which players face each other with custom built squads, each containing different units from three unique factions in a futuristic kind of setting. Simultaneous turns allow players to carefully plan their actions by including two main phases: planning and executing. This modality promises a fast gameplay with low waiting time between turns.

The game currently features 54 different units scattered around three factions, allowing for a great deal of squad customization when going into each different match. Closed Beta keys can be requested and obtained through Fall Damage’s official website, or just clicking here.

As stated above, Closed Beta will remain as it is until January 31st with a massive content update announced already and a full release date still unknown, but that will be within 2019.
