Untitled Goose Game is now on Xbox Game Pass

The Goose is loose on Microsoft’s flagship service.Untitled Goose Game

Xbox Game Pass has proved itself the home of great indie titles over the last few months bringing a range of awesome games to the console. This week it added one of 2019’s best in Untitled Goose Game, a game in which you play a disgruntled goose out to cause as much mischief as possible.

This slapstick sandbox took social media by storm last year as thousands of people expressed their desire to play an annoying goose rampaging around an unsuspecting British village. Honking its way up the charts, Untitled Goose Game became a smash hit and now its available to play for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

The service has built up one of the most impressive catalogues of indie games out there over the last few months. Despite initial concerns from indie devs about subscription services, some have reported positive sales increases from being a part of Game Pass. No More Robots founder, Mike Rose stated on Twitter that the sales for Descenders, a downhill mountain biking game, had doubled possibly even tripled on Xbox in comparison to Steam.

Either way, if you’re an indie game fan then Xbox Game Pass is an amazing service. Nearly every indie games to make the best of lists over the last two years is on there right now and all for a relatively cheap monthly fee. Not sure how long it’ll stay that way, but frankly it’s a bargain as it stands.

You can check Untitled Goose game now on Xbox Game Pass alongside Ori and the Will of the Wisps which is now ready for pre-installation prior to launch.
