Sometimes you just need to be a badass spell-slinging, axe-wielding knight or something. Shooting can be a little impersonal in gaming, so it’s nice to switch things up and chuck in some melee weapons, you know? That’s exactly what Six Temples is all about, the joy of hacking, the pleasures of slashing. Truly it is a great chance to vent some of your frustrations with the world, and all from the safety of your own home.

Six Temples is a multiplayer game, one with directional combat, special abilities, and ultimate attacks. That means it’s a bit like a few popular games that thrive in multiplayer, and that means it could be an awful lot of fun for all involved. It’s set in a world where their gods decided to give humanity some very special relics, which means that some bad people have decided to keep them all to themselves, and now everything has gone horribly wrong. Because everyone believes that the world is about to peter out anyway, everybody has decided to go out in a giant fit of blood, glory, and I assume some kind of weird cult sacrifices.

It’s all just an excuse for a good old fashioned ruckus, and that’s all that anybody really wants. There are a fair few classes to dabble with, different roles to fill, and a variety of maps to learn and master. On top of that, and possibly the coolest feature is the ability to play against bots if you want to. That means you can properly practice and learn a character, and that means you can become truly great at the game at your own pace. You too can join the fray when Six Temples release on April 17th.
