Fall Guys Looks Hilarious And Has A Beta Soon

I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up

God damn Fall Guys looks good. It feels, mostly due to the horrifically messed-up passage of time, like it was revealed decades ago, but it’s not really been that long at all… I don’t think. Anyway, watch the trailer above if you’ve not seen it in action, but it’s basically “what if Takeshi’s Castle, but multiplayer” and I’m incredibly excited for it.

As good as that is though, the big deal today is that you can sign up for the public beta by going to the site and following the instructions there. That means you’ll get a chance to play it before it’s even out, which is always a cool experience. It also means you’ll have to wait to play it again if you really like it, and that’s sad, but try not to dwell on the philosophical questions that surround the idea of enjoying something fleeting and whether or not that’s better or worse than enjoying something permanent.

I’m really excited to jump into it, and I think it could well be the feel-good hit of the summer. No, I don’t feel bad for using this absurdly common and somewhat meaningless phrase, I do what I want. I think a nice dose of colour and slapstick will really help a lot of us through the next few months, so I really hope that the official release date won’t be too much longer after the beta itself. If anybody who can move the release date up a bit is reading this, I’ll send you cat pictures to make it happen. Thanks.
