Wizard of Legend announced for Switch

The co-op spell slinger dungeon crawler could be perfect for Switch.

Wizard of Legend is a fast paced dungeon crawler with an emphasis on dynamic magical combat. Quick movement and even quicker use of spells will allow you to chain spells together to unleash devastating combinations against your enemies.  With over 100 spells, procedurally generated maps and dynamic, evolving enemies, developer Contingent 99 aspire to recreate the experience of RPG adventure games from the sNES era.

We also wanted to create a game with an engaging combat system with a pacing similar to modern hack and slash games with a hint of inspiration from fighting games. What we ended up with is a fast paced spell slinging dungeon crawler called Wizard of Legend.

With their original Kickstarter goal of $50,000 now paling in comparison to the $72,000 raised so far, the developers are keen to make the game available on as many systems as possible, and the co-op centred Switch seems to be the perfect platform.

Any RPG fans hungry for a new co-op adventure can still become a supporter on Wizard of Legend’s Kickstarter page, with (at the time of writing) pledges of $15 or more will be rewarded with a Steam key.  Early 2018 is when we can expect the game to be released.  Check out the Wizard of Legend site.
