Unrect coming to Steam this week

Build, survive, command and defend in this 2D sandbox.

In UNRECT you’re on an important mission – to build and extend your colony.  You achieve this by collecting the life essence scattered around the world.  Once you’re no longer alone and have other colonists with you, build them homes to protect them from your enemies.

You can then use your colonists to create even more colonists, through perhaps slightly unnatural means of collecting even more essence.  You can also order them to man the defensive turrets to keep your enemies away.  Your colonists also gain skill points as they work.  Use these skill points wisely to make your colonists productive.  In this way they can use turrets better, they become stronger and they work faster.

The world in UNRECT is vast and open world, and you can build upon it further by placing blocks, somewhat similar to Minecraft.  Once you’ve established your base and planned your defensive strategy, why not go out into the world and take over enemy bases?  You can fast travel between bases, and also improve your own abilities from life capsules that you collect.

UNRECT on Steam will be released on the 18th of January, however there is no word on pricing yet.  For more info, check out the official Unrect website.
