The immersive and frightening masterpiece of fear is coming soon.
Layers of Fear from developer Bloober Team originally launched in 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Since the original release of the critically acclaimed horror adventure, there have been over 6,000 reviews on Steam and it’s currently rated very positively.
Players embark on an artist’s descent into madness as he struggles to achieve perfection. Layers of Fear is inspired by dark and classic art, featuring it’s own gritty and atmospheric setting.
The playable character in Layers of Fear is hell-bent on finishing his masterpiece. His psychotic disillusions physically manifest, and gradually become progressively unnerving. You’ll need to explore the ever-changing environment of the mansion to discover the secret of his mental illness.
The Legacy edition of Layers of Fear includes the critically acclaimed Inheritance DLC. This extra content expanded on the original story with a new narrative. You can explore the painter’s house from his daughter’s perspective, with multiple endings dependent on how you played through the game.
The Switch exclusive version of the first-person psychological horror has also been remastered and redesigned with an aim to being the most immersive horror game on the console.
Layers of Fear: Legacy will launch on the Switch on the 21st of February, and will be available from the Nintendo eShop for £17.99 / €19.99 / $19.99.
