Upgrade your character, your gear, and even your town.
Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is a 4 player co-op, 16-bit inspired, top down sword slashing action RPG with a large set of tools, spells, classes and weapons at your disposal. Journey to the lost continent of Tasos and explore the ancient ruins, secret caves and sentient dungeons scattered throughout the hand crafted overworld.
The dungeons found throughout Tasos are procedurally generated to connect handmade rooms and switch up the layout, no two runs are the same. Keys, puzzles, and traps are mixed up, and even within the same rooms things won’t always play out in the same way. Combining randomization with hand placement gives replayability without the drawbacks of uninteresting design that can come from full random generation.
Explore solo or team up in co-op with up to 4 players through the entire campaign, beginning to end. Build up your village into a bustling community; as you make progress new townsfolk will appear, bringing along new clues and side quests. Collect new tools and weapons to open up your world and reach those out of reach areas. Upgrade your Hero’s statistics until you are strong enough to defeat the dungeons and stop their evil power from consuming the land for good.
Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is moving along in development towards an early access release coming in the near future on Steam. Developer Heliocentric Studios has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Rogue Heroes to help expand the game and bring it out on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
