Neon Chrome, the twin stick shooter hit by developer 10tons has today released its score attack survival game mode Arena on the Xbox One family of consoles. For those who don’t know, Neon Chrome is a top-down twin stick shooter set in a dystopian science fiction future. Blast your way through walls and enemies with guns and cybernetic abilities. Install perks from cyber chambers and upgrade your characters stats after each death. There is only one question however which remains, can you stop the Overseer?
The Arena DLC is an arena type survival game mode with online leaderboards. The player’s goal is to survive as long as possible against endless waves of enemies while racking up as high a score as possible. Additionally, the Arena DLC is also set to include:
- Choose from five roles – each role has its own leaderboard as they play differently
- Install up to 12 enhancements during your run
- Upgrade your damage output with weapon upgrades and crates
- Unlock weapons and enhancements in the main game – use them on the Arena
If you don’t already own the base game of Neon Chrome on Xbox One, the Arena DLC will also be included in the Neon Chrome Deluxe Bundle starting today. When bought together with the main game in the bundle there is a small discount. If you are interested in picking up the DLC today on Xbox One you can do so for $4.99 / £3.99.
