It’s balloons, that fight!
Battlloon, the balloon-battle party game from Sony publishing label UNTIES and developer noname studio, will be coming to Nintendo Switch on February 28th.
This party game aims to keep you and your friends afloat with retro-style pixel arenas and cheerful music. Gathering together two to four people, you can choose between six balloons to engage in battles to the pop. Play dirty and bounce your enemies into spikes walls to get the upper hand. Try your best to avoid getting popped.
Each choice of balloon warrior has their own distinct playstyle. The Puffer can become the unstoppable force you need, becoming unmovable when blown to full size; Birdie Jay can move quickly, but that also means they can get thrown onto spikes; while Astro Cat can wow those that view them with a rainbow trail.
John Davis, G&R Representative at UNTIES said of the game, “It’s the kind of experience that has drawn attendees at shows like PAX across the showfloor to see what the hell is going on, with gameplay kept them coming back for more. Now we look forward to sharing BATTLLOON with the world.”
