The Stillness of the Wind released on PC & Nintendo Switch today

Live the quiet life of Talma.

The Stillness of the Wind, the meditative game on life and loss from developers Memory of God and Lambic Studios, has released onto Steam today. It’s a farming game with a melancholy spin, seeing players live out the last days of the elderly woman Talma.

Talma’s existence has become quieter over the years, as steadily more and more people have begun to leave the little village that she calls home. Players spend time within game living out her daily routine in this beautifully coloured world. You can develop your own routes and routines for tending to Talma’s homestead, caring for the farm and feeding the animals that live on it. Gather produce from you goats and sheep in order to cook meals, and trade tiwh the travelling merchant who becomes your main link to news of your family. Not all appears to be well with your family in the city, however, and the letters become increasingly disturbing.

When we reviewed The Stillness of the Wind, we didn’t find the survival elements of the game particularly enjoyable to play. Experience The Stillness of the Wind for yourself by visiting the game’s Steam page, where it is available from today.
