Each of these five indie horror game bundles is filled with a whole lot of nope. Here is a quick rundown of each of the games featured in this month’s competition.

Pathologic 2

A horror game that needs no introduction, Pathologic 2 is the sequel to the cult-classic psychological first-person survival game, Pathologic. This narrative-driven thriller sees a deadly plague rampage a small town with only you standing in the way of its utter devastation. Famed for its suffocating atmosphere and distinct horror style, Pathologic 2 is heading to be every bit as memorable as the classic that preceded it. You have 12 days and you can’t save everyone, so choose wisely.

Pacify

From the makers of Emily wants to play comes Pacify, a terrifying forst-person horror experience. After hearing of a reportedly evil presence within an old house you embark on a mission to uncover a hellish truth. Working as part of PAH, Paranormal Activity Helpers Incorporated, you’ll have to face the nightmare of a 100-year-old house and a legacy of occult behaviour. This tense thriller will have you on the edge of your seat stalked by the presence of a missing girl.

Rusty Lake Paradise

Set on a small and strange remote island Rusty Lake Paradise is a macabre puzzle adventure that hides dark secrets. Returning to the island after his mother passed away former resident Jakob finds it cursed by the ten plagues of Egypt. You’ll have to find your mother’s hidden memories to unravel this bizarre tale of the occult and partake in unusual family rituals to stop the plagues. This point and click will have you spellbound from start to finish and enthralled in the weird and wonderful world it presents.

Through the Woods

With her some missing a mother enters a deep dark forest in search of answers – what she finds is beyond all belief. Through the Woods is a tense third-person horror adventure heavily influenced by Norse mythology and Norwegian folk tales. Through reactive narration, the player comes to understand their reason for being in this dark place and the fears gnawing at their subconsciouses. There’s more than darkness and isolation in these woods though, as you’ll soon come to find out.

HEVN

HEVN thrust players into a strange, sci-fi world on an isolated planetoid orbiting a distant star. You’ll have to navigate the physical and political dangers of a controversial mining mission as you uncover deeper secrets best left buried light-years from Earth. This homage to classic FPS adventure like System Shock will take you on a wild journey.
