Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is finally finished

And it has a release date too.

Ready Thy Shovels as Yacht Club Games has announced Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove’s full launch finally has a release date. Years in the making, the final additions to the collection, including Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight: Showdown, are planned to release 10 December 2019.

The full launch will include a physical edition for Nintendo Switch, Playstation and Xbox and the release of a Gold Editon Shovel Knight amiibo. The Treasure Trove collection has been released as free DLC for everyone who either pledged to the Kickstarter or brought the original release. In total, once this final update releases, the game will include four separate campaigns following Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Specter Knight and King Knight respectively alongside Smash Bros style brawler Shovel Knight: Showdown.

It really has been a busy year for the Yacht Club Games team and that’s not even mentioning Shovel Knight Dig, their next planned collaboration project with Nitrome in the Shovel Knight universe.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is set to fully release on PC, Playstation, Switch, Xbox and 3DS, 10 December 2019.
