Wattam is the being-silly simulator where friendship is key
Hold a few hands, people.
Wattam is a game about making friends and then trying to ferry those friends around. If I know anything about making friends in London, that sounds like a lot of hassle, but no! Wattam is a silly adventure in all things weird and wonderful that requires cooperation and a bit of chaos to succeed. Nothing like making friends in London – a lot more fun.
You wake up as a mayor with no town or people to govern. The world you wake up in is dark and lonely but never fear! There are still good friends nearby, you just have to go and find them. As the mayor reunites with old friends and makes a handful of new ones, he begins to regain his memories and with it, some of the joy he’s lost. There are more than 100 characters to discover, all coming in a range of shapes and sizes. The biggest puzzle you’ll face here is just learning how to be stupid and get along, collecting fellow idiots on the way.
Wattam is made by the creators of Katamari Damacy and follows in a similar vein of whimsical silliness. The game can be played solo or in couch co-op, and you can decide to come in and out of multiplayer at any time. With all four seasons featured in the game, you’re going to have plenty of beauty to discover in your adventures with friends.
Wattam is out now on the Epic Store and PS4. For more info, check out the Epic Store page.
