House Flipper HGTV DLC Announced

Create star-studded new builds for a TV audience in House Flipper’s next DLC.

House Flipper is bringing a HGTV DLC to Steam in the next few months – an obvious progression for the dodgy-DIY simulator. Expect to add a bit of glitz and glamour to the process, with the opportunity to present your own, unfiltered, HGTV style show!

The HGTV DLC will include ten new locations and set-ups. If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a renovator but don’t know your claw-hammer from your crow-bar, this is a good (and financially viable) place to start. Instead of tearing down your house in an experimental whirlwind of creativity, invest in House Flipper and judge your clients for their hideous requests, whilst learning the essential skills.

Before-and-after shots are what make HGTV-esque programs worth watching, and this update will bring them to the forefront of the House Flipper world. As usual, the clients will be overly demanding, the houses will be coated in questionable filth, and you will have enough free reign to get creative before the big reveal.

Much like previous DLCs – Garden Flipper, and Apocalypse Flipper – the HGTV update will require the base game to play. Although occasionally riddled with bugs, (both literally and figuratively) House Flipper essentially converts that first bit of The Sims (the only bit anyone really plays) into a full-length game. The ability to present your own creations on some pulpy daytime TV show is sure to give it a whole new dimension of guilty pleasures.
