The Last Autumn DLC Brings Sun to Frostpunk

Winter sun comes in the form of The Last Autumn, a new Frostpunk DLC.

Unconventional strategy posterchild, Frostpunk, has a new DLC coming our way this month – and it looks incredible. Finally, the story of site 113 and the larger Frostpunk universe will be explained. Keep an eye out for The Last Autumn on the 21st January.

This new DLC scenario has huge potential, promising all-new gameplay mechanics and a deepening of the Frostpunk lore. The Last Autumn allows you to experience the story for yourself, surviving the cold to build a powerful generator. Learning from your mistakes. Developing laws and ideas that contribute to a strong society.

Throwing more steam-powered technologies into the mix, and offering a whole new set of rules and laws, this DLC brings more context to our favourite frosty world. This may be our first chance to see this gorgeous landscape before it was covered by snow.

If you’ve played and enjoyed the base game, the attention to detail and generous expansion offering will come as no surprise. 11 Bit Studios have committed to this, and another DLC by the end of the year, expanding the Frostpunk world considerably.

Not a great deal is known about this mystery third DLC, but The Last Autumn and its predecessor, The Rifts will all be available on the Frostpunk Season Pass. Alternately, they will be available separately from the Steam store.
