Well, assuming you have very large pockets
It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have a release date for The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch. This comes a few months after the release date for the other consoles, but hey, they’d definitely never fit in your pockets. If you’ve not played or heard about it, The Outer Worlds has you exploring a space colony where capitalism is all that matters and every world is just as corrupt as the next. You know, that story where capitalism is bad because it doesn’t care about anybody?
We did a review of if when it first released, where we gave it an 8/10. So you can expect to have a good time with it, as long as you’re into single-player adventures. Of course, with it being the Switch version, things are bound to be a little bit different. There’s going to be a day one patch for it which could be up to 6GB that will help with gameplay and provide nicer textures too.
Of course, if you’re going for the digital version, then you’ll need space for that and the full game, but it’s worth keeping in mind either way. It’s worth the file size though, and this kind of adventure could be just what you need to see you through the start of the summer months. It’s not even that long to wait for your chance to disappear into space either, as The Outer Worlds releases on Switch on June 5th.
