Why You Should Play Warframe

I picked up Warframe initially a few years ago, and while it was fun, it didn’t really click with me for some reason. Fast forward to last month, and suddenly I’m hooked on it. Everything feels a lot smoother than I remember it being. Running is wonderful, double jumps feel great, and dashing between enemies with your sword and cutting them down is excellent. It’s made all the better by your Tenno deflecting bullets as they go; the game just oozes cool.

There’s also just more to do than can ever be done. Where there once only closed off corridors there are now huge open worlds ready for you to run around in, it’s just a completely different experience now. Of course, you might already know this, as you might have never left, but for returning or new players it’s an excellent discovery to make. It’s a little overwhelming, but you never feel like you have to do everything all at once, and I’ve been dipping in for half an hour or so every day since I started playing again.

Oh, also the bow literally pins enemies to walls, and there are few things as wonderfully satisfying as lining up a shot that just skewers three or four foes. Warframe is worth playing because it’s fun, but it also perfects stylish gameplay and constantly rewards you for playing it. You can buy stuff if you want to, but you never feel like you have to, and that makes it incredibly satisfying.
