There’s A Big Free Update Coming To Blue Fire

Blue Fire is an absurdly difficult action-platformer that came out earlier this year that our reviewer, the multi-talented Henry, said would “test your patience,” but also that those willing to embrace that difficulty would “find a game with plenty of depth, offering a solid visual presentation, enjoyable dungeons, and intriguing story which comes recommended.” Basically, it’s hard, but it’s also fun, and some people like the combination of those two things, so it’s found a bit of an audience so far.

Well, if you happen to count yourself in that number, you’ll be very happy to learn that there’s actually more Blue Fire on the way, and that better yet, it’s actually coming this week. Void of Sorrows is releasing on September 20th, and it features two new areas, sixteen new Voids, and one new boss. That all equates to around five hours of extra gameplay, and it also has a couple of new tunics and swords too, along with expanding on the original story.

It looks as though it’s going to be yet more offensively tricky platforming sections at the forefront here, so if you’ve been itching for more chances to show off just how good you are at platformers then this could well be what you’ve been waiting for. Of course, it’s unlikely to bring in new fans, but you definitely should give Blue Fire a look if you’re interested in something that wants to beat you up, laugh at you, and then offer you even more chances for more suffering.
