Baldur’s Gate 3 Continues To Be Absurdly Good

The latest patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 has been out for a little over a week, and that’s absolutely not enough time to see everything that it’s added, but it is enough time for me to once again feel the need to remind everyone how good this game is at the moment. I’ve played through it a few times since it hit Early Access last year, mostly to mess around with different builds, and every time I do so I’m amazed at the intricacies of the gameplay.

There are so many things you can do in this game that feel utterly absurd, and it nails the feeling of playing D&D in a digital form. The latest patch not only adds in another class, but also a fair chunk of a new area too. It’s the first time we’ve had the chance to delve a little bit deeper into the world, and it’s wonderful to have a few more places to see. It’s also improved the graphics substantially, and even added in new music. There’s just a lot of good game here, you know.

Anyway, you should probably consider playing it if you don’t mind the idea of playing through multiple times. However, unlike many of the Early Access games we recommend here at the site, I do actually believe this could be one that’s worth simply looking at in awe until it fully releases, whenever that ends up being. I’m torn when recommending it, but I am also really enjoying it, so I can’t help but write about it.
