Thrash your way through the fast-paced heavy metal platformer.
SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell is the world’s only competitive heavy metal first-person platformer. Like an unholy child of Quake 3 and Super Meat Boy, SEUM is truly hardcore and focuses on speed and fast reactions.
If mind-blowing speed and adrenaline blasting its way through your body seems too boring for your speed running blitzkrieg, then search for the beer cans hidden in each level. The developers, Pine Studio hint at the possibility of secrets being unlocked if you collect them all.
There’s plenty of gameplay to keep you thrashing in SEUM, with over 100 levels requiring you to race across and jump over platforms and bounce pads while shooting fireballs as you battle to reach an exit portal in the minimum amount of time. You can compete against your friends (and enemies) for the top speedrunning times in the online high score ladder.
SEUM’s console-exclusive bullet-time mode adds a completely fresh layer to the gameplay and lets you conquer the online leaderboards by optimizing your runs to the very last bit.
You’ll be able to thrash your PS4 with heavy metal fireballs from the 22nd of February. If you can’t wait that long, SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell originally launched on Steam in July 2016 and is available for £10.99 / €14.99 / $14.99.
