Classic platformer inspired by Nintendo Entertainment System games.
A Hole New World is a game inspired in the classics, with an easy two button scheme of controls, one button to jump and one to shoot, so the challenge is in the game, not in the controls. It also can be enjoyed from minute one, because there are no tutorials that make players wait for the action.
The game released in 2017 was well received by critics and players and was nominated as Best PC Game and Best Technology by The Spanish Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and Best Game by Austrian SAGA Awards among others.
Miguel Murat from developer Mad Gear Games said:
“I believe A Hole New World is the perfect game for Nintendo Switch. It’s ideal for a quick play at home or riding the bus.”
The game is designed to be challenging, like the NES platformers from which it’s art style and music is inspired. There are more than 30 enemies and seven boss battles. The story mode takes place through five different worlds and several different modes, such as Game+, Boss Rush Mode, Challenge Mode, and there are multiple different endings.
A Hole New World is launching on Switch on the first of March. You can already download A Hole New World on Steam for £6.99 / €9.99 / $9.99.
