Brotherhood United

Brotherhood United blasts its way onto Steam

Retro run and gun platformer Brotherhood United is out now.

Brotherhood United

Brotherhood United is an old school sidescrolling platformer where the goal is simple: blast your way through a host of bad guys, including an array of 8 giant bosses, to rescue your friend, who has been taken prisoner.

The graphics of this 2D run-and-gun are plain and simple, with a retro feel, and the game draws a lot of inspiration from games like Metal Slug and Mercenary Kings. It’s a simple game with a lot of running and shooting, but also packs a lot of options for gamers who enjoy customisation, with several different guns available plus grenades, as well as item upgrades and at least one vehicle.

The game has 8 bosses and an original soundtrack. There is a large amount of character customisation for a 2D game, with different options for hair, glasses, headgear and skin tone. There are several different costumes to kit out your character in, our favourite being the fetching dragon outfit!

Brotherhood United is brought to you by Myoubouh Corp, a small Swiss studio. With 20 levels with 3 sub-quests each, it is a relatively long arcade game considering its low price. It went live on Steam on the 15th. It is currently on a 10% opening week discount so grab it now on Steam.
