Catastronauts sets to land this month
With a Nintendo Switch release coming later in the year!
Developers Inertia Game Studios, creators behind their new title Catastronauts, have today announced that it will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam, on September 28th, 2018. A Nintendo Switch released is also slated for this year, however, it currently has no set release date. Catastronauts is a face-paced, chaotic couch co-op experience that sees 1-4 players assume the role of an intergalactic starfleet locked in an epic battle with an invading enemy vessel and unrelenting disaster. Coordination, cooperation and decisiveness are of the utmost importance in this riotous party game, as multiple tasks need to be simultaneously dealt with across the deck-systems need repairing, blazing fires need to be extinguished and the torpedos need to be armed, however, try not to kill your friends!
If you think invading enemy fighters were not enough though, then prepared to be surprised! Each level offers unique challenges and dangers to overcome, including malfunctioning extraction doors that can suck crew members out into the harsh, unforgiving void we lovingly call “space”, and toasty solar flares that have been known to reduce budding Catastronauts to a pile of ash in mere seconds.
If you are interested in checking out the game, be sure to head over to the Catastronauts Steam page to add the game onto your wish list or over to the PSN or Xbox Live Stores. Pricing for the Steam version will be £12.39. The PlayStation and Xbox Stores however will be priced as £12.79
