The Bug Butcher crawls to Switch next week

Pest control with machine guns in space.

2Awesome Studios, in partnership with the equally awesome Awfully Nice Studios (they have worked on The Avengers and also at Blizzard Entertainment) are happy to announce that The Bug Butcher is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 8th, 2018. Inspired by Super Pang or Super Buster Bros, for North Americans. The Bug Butcher is a relentless shoot’em-up with a simple rule; you can only fire straight up. Good thing your helmet comes with a visor.

Something has gone terribly wrong and the super secret science facility has been infested with nasty bugs which really, really like the poor scientists there. You are put into the shoes on Harry, the best bug exterminator in the galaxy and those scientists better have insurance to cover this because your services aren’t cheap.

Bring a friend into the mix and play endlessly in co-op mode. Because nothing is a better declaration of friendship than burning bugs together with a well targeted super laser. Those who also have a competitive itch can compete with those very same friends in the games online leaderboards. Most of all though, for those completionists, be sure to beat each level by racking up your combo to earn all the game stars.

Be sure to have a look on the Nintendo eShop starting next week on November 8th when the game launches. Additionally, for those who are wanting to pre-order the game, starting November 1st, an additional 10% off will be taken off the price when you pre-order.
