Capy Games long-awaited dark adventure arrives this month.
Capy Games recently announced that their long-awaited dungeon crawler, BELOW will be releasing this month. First announced at E3 in 2013, the game has spent nearly six years in development and will finally be available 14th December.
Gaining notoriety at E3 for its standout aesthetic and minimalist design, BELOW has been eagerly awaited by fans who have been understandably concerned after the game suffered a series of delays. Things have been extremely quiet over the last year after the developers put the game on hold, indefinitely, so it’s a welcome surprise to see the action-adventure roguelike is finally finished and ready for release.
The game drops you into a procedurally generated subterranean maze of labyrinths with all the usual threats you’ve come to expect from a roguelike. You’ll have to survive and explore this sprawling underworld facing off against cunning creatures, deadly traps, and a mysterious shadowy presence that stalks your every move. Ultimately, your goal is to find the secret of what lies below, as the title alludes, and unearth a hidden darkness by lightning your way through the depths.
