Truck Driver will be available on January 2019 for PC and consoles. Buckle up!
Indie developers at Triangle Studios (Cross Of The Dutchman, Real Farm), in collaboration with publishers at SODESCO informed today the upcoming arrival of their new open-world simulator and adventure game Truck Driver to PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X.
Truck Driver is a blend of a driving simulation game with a massive open world and a story to progress through by helping other citizens and businesses make their town grow. This adventure also adds skill upgrading and challenges to keep you busy for a long time.
The story begins as we inherit a truck from an uncle and decide to put it to good use and move to a new city, where we’ll be able to make a name for ourselves by helping it grow while earning the respect of business owners, constructors and the locals in general. The full list of features goes like this:
- Enjoy a trucking experience focused on your career as a truck driver
- Build stronger relationships with the local community with each job
- Customize your truck with tons of parts and tune it to your liking
- Explore a vast open world and watch it progress with you
- Navigate through beautiful landscapes and fully explorable cities
Upgrading our skills will allow us to have, for instance, a stronger engine resistant to wearing, as well as better tires, extra discounted prices for new upgrades and truck parts, extra rewards in money and experience, as well as other hardware and charisma improvements.
With some awesome looking visuals, a full simulation experience and an adventure to follow, Truck Driver is a great choice for truck lovers, driving and simulation fans. With a “coming soon” release ahead, console owners will also be able to enjoy other players’ mods, as this support has been announced by Triangle Studios. Amazon’s product page for Truck Driver states that the release of Truck Driver will be on January 29th, 2019.
Our boy from Buenos Aires, Juan has been a gamer for as long as he can remember (and possibly even longer than that). He loves a good story, and believes every indie game has a compelling one to tell.
