Stanley Parable

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe announced during The Game Awards 2018

The hilarious PC adventure arrives on consoles in 2019 with additional content.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is bringing its unique brand of humor to consoles next year, after enjoying a raucous run on PC.

Galactic Cafe and Crows Crows Crows are bringing the comedic adventure to an even bigger platform. The announcement took place during The Game Awards 2018, where an irreverent trailer broke the news to giggling fans.

While there’s currently no planned release window beyond simply “2019” the trailer did tout new endings, new choices, and other surprises planned for the title.

For the uninitiated, The Stanley Parable is a rather unorthodox adventure game that follows a somewhat generic office worker who finds his boring life turned upside down one day when he finds all of his coworkers have vanished. You’ll take control of the protagonist and wander around the empty office building looking for the answers to all the questions he has, while a sassy narrator comments on your every move, snarking on your decisions at every turn.

There’s currently no word on whether the game will be a free update for those who already own the game on PC, but hopefully additional details are coming down the pipeline. We’re salivating over the idea of interacting with that hilarious narrator again.
