Magnificent Rides DLC drops for Planet Coaster

Some of the most iconic rides are coming today.

Today marks the launch on of the Planet Coaster Magnificent Rides Collection for PC. Developers Frontier Developments want to bring some of the most iconic and recognised ride designs to the game as requested by the games’ community.

The DLC features nine brand new rides to build. Ranging from flat rides to roller coasters, there will be something for everyone’s park style. Some of the new rides include:

• The Grand Carousel – this well-loved classic has been a staple in amusement parks around the world for decades. Its elegance and beauty will surely evoke fond family memories for many who play.
• The Tracker – this is a brand new tracked ride where parties, of up to eight people, sit in pods and are taken on an adventure. The pods will bank and spin as the ride tells you its story. It is a bit more of an easy going ride.
• The Mind Melt (pictured below) – this invert roller coaster is not for the fainthearted. Engaging in high-paced twists and loops, this is going to be one for the thrill-seekers visiting your park.

Today’s new content marks the end of a very busy year for the games’ developers. So far this year we have seen Hollywood and the World Fair come to Planet Coaster as well as a bit more traditional and vintage fare. So, for a game that has only been out for two years, the developers certainly like to keep the content fresh for their community.
