Grab great indie games in the Itch.io Winter Sale

Pick up an indie game or two (or three) on the cheap. 

It’s that time of year again: Indie games are being discounted, and you know what that means – time to buy, namely from Itch.io!

The Itch.io Winter Sale is in full swing, and you owe it to yourself to be a part of it all. Hundreds of projects have been discounted on the storefront, and the list is constantly shifting. You can check out a list here of all the games up for grabs, and they’ll continually be swapped out all the way through December 27 at 10 AM PST.

But what should you pick up? That largely depends on the type of games you’re into. There are, however, quite a few titles that are universally loved on the list that are well worth purchasing.

There’s Superhot, the decidedly unique and intriguing shooter where time only moves when you do. Then, Hidden Folks is a hand-drawn interactive image where you search for different hidden images on the map. If you’re looking for something a bit darker, you might consider picking up A Mortician’s Tale, which puts you front and center of a funeral home, and it’s quite moving.

If you’re looking for something quick and fun to sit down with over the holidays that are fast approaching, chances are you’ll be able to find something fantastic during the sale. For the curious, there are point-and-click adventures, personal adventures, RPGs, arcade titles, and much more waiting for you to discover!
